After an epic dining experience at 
Carney’s which consisted of a chili cheeseburger, chili cheese dog, and chili cheese fries, it raised the simple question what does Carney's do best? I suppose the answer to that question is whatever they decide to put chili cheese on. The burger is fantastic, and unlike the Tommy Burger that looks like it got hit by a chili grenade, the Carney’s chili cheeseburger is wrapped nice and neat in a tidy little chili diaper that retains all the chili exactly where it should be, on the burger. The recipe to success for Carney's Burger, besides its ridiculously greasy and delicious chili, is the balance. Since the chili is contained, every bite is as consistent as the last. One topping does not overpower the next which can be a challenge when chili is in the mix. Carney’s is as good as it gets when it comes to greasy gastronomy in L.A.
