Chick-fil-A is one of those places where the idea of it is usually better than the actual food. It can be closely compared to the Sonic franchise. I’ve watched dozens of Sonic commercials and have craved it incessantly, but since there are no Sonics that I know of in L.A., it’s always out of reach. There is one on way to Vegas which I dined at and was greatly let down due to the fact I hyped it up so much. The same is with Chick-fil-A, however there is one in L.A. on the USC campus. While it used to be a treat to eat at the only Chick-fil-A in L.A., for me it has lost its luster. There is nothing really special about Chick-fil-A, other than that they are rare and subsequently a commodity. It’s still as good as a fried chicken sandwich that you are going to find at a fast food restaurant in this town, but not worth biking halfway across the city for.
