Bay cities could be the best Italian Style Deli in LA. However, my endorsment does not hold as much merit as it would in a city like New York or Chicago. The truth is there are not that many great Italian Deli's in L.A. This should not take away from what Bay Cities brings to the counter, which is some pretty good stuff. I frequent Bay Cities often and usually go with a Bay City staple "The Godmother". On some occasions I venture out and try something new and I have yet to be dissapointed. Bay Cities is one of those places where just about everything is quality, and subsequently the burger is too. A very unique glazed like bun, tons of grilled onions, and beefy patty made it a great burger. The only fault the burger had, that it is not made fresh to order. 
While I can’t fault a deli style joint, with lines out the door, for not making every single thing they have on the spot, I can knock off a star, cause that’s what I do. For as crowded as it is Bay Cities does a decent job of moving the long lines, but expect a wait especially if you go during peak hours. Not a burger place, but like I said everything is good there. Feel free to explore the menu at Bay Cities, but make sure you grab a "Godmother" to go.
