Now judging by the picture you may think that this may be the worst chili-dog in the world, however there are some merits that should be noted. First and foremost you can never have too much cheese. Wether its freshly grated, processed, string, or any other variety, cheese has the donutability to not overpower a dish, but rather make it more cheesy. The quality of the hot dog was in question. But isn’t the notion of a “quality hot dog” an oxymoron of itself? Hot Dogs are inherently rendered down mystery meats, so as long as it is not expired it is what it is. There was no excuse for the chili. I’m actually hesitant in calling it a chili-cheese dog. It should be more accurately labeled a cheese-dog with chili-like spread. The chili was perhaps a cut above catsup, at best. One happy accident was getting it to go. My short journey home allotted time for the processed cheese to congeal to a warm blob over the dog. The chili cheese dog.. or rather the cheese-dog with chili-like spread was not as bad as one may think. After reading this review you may not be grabbing your coat and out the door en rout to D.K.’s to have one, but you can’t knock it until you have had it. Well I guess you can knock it..
