I was feeling rough that morning, a bit hung over, so I thought that a breakfast burrito would hit the spot. Plus, it’s a short ride over from where I live. When the lady said that they did not have breakfast burritos, I panicked and ordered a double cheeseburger. I appreciate grease to the fullest, but I wasn’t feeling too well and it was 9:00 AM. The double cheeseburger, undeniably ubiquitous, armed with a payload of grease charged beef patties and processed cheese, truly did me in. It felt like someone packed a sandbag with ground meat, melted cheese, and plenty of grease, and dropped it into my stomach. I think it would be a better burger under different circumstances, but not exactly a breakfast of champions. I walked out of Big Jo’s more sweaty and worse feeling than when I walked in.
